Distress Press
It applies vintage, grunge, cracked, or worn textures to your designs so they look like distressed print designs.
Transparent PNG files work best. JPGs will also work, but they may keep unwanted backgrounds.
Yes. You can preview your distressed design on both Light and Dark shirt colors. The final download is always a transparent PNG so you can use it on any background or shirt color.
Yes. The download automatically keeps your original filename and adds “_distressed” at the end. Example: gymdesign.png becomes gymdesign_distressed.png.
Some distress patterns are reversed. If your design looks like the effect is applied backwards (solid where it should be cut out), use the Invert Mask option to flip the effect.
Currently no. If you’d like to see a certain effect (scratches, halftones, grunge, etc.), send us a suggestion.
No. The Distress Tool is available only to Pro and Premium subscribers.
Each distress pattern is preset. For a lighter effect, choose a more subtle pattern. For a stronger effect, choose one with heavier coverage or toggle Invert if needed.
This usually happens if you uploaded a low-resolution or semi-transparent file. Try re-uploading a high-quality PNG with solid colors.
The Light/Dark toggle is only for previewing how your design will look on different shirt colors. The downloaded file itself is always transparent.
The final distressed design is always exported at the same resolution as your original uploaded file.
No. The distress effect is applied directly at full resolution. Just make sure your upload is high quality for best printing results.
